Big Hero 6 Review (No Spoilers)

Last night I went to see Big Hero 6 with my housemate and her siblings. This is a film that I have been looking forward to seeing for quite a while.

Disney's Big Hero 6 is the first movie created from the Marvel universe released under Disney and when I discovered that it was a Marvel film this just made me more excited!! I am a huge superhero fan and this is a really fabulous film! It's a good film to ease children into the Marvel Universe!

The film centres around Hiro and his brothers creation the robot, Baymax. After Hiro's brother dies, he partners with Baymax, a robot who heals people, and his brother's friends to try and catch the bad guy.
This film was really entertaining and very funny, however, because of my dissertation looking into disability in Disney films there were a couple of faults I found. However, I decided to overlook these and just embrace the film for what it was. I would certainly recommend this film, in fact I am going to see it again next week!

Here is the trailer for those not familiar with the film:

Oh, and Stan Lee's cameo was perfect (Wait until the end of the credits!)

Kingsman: The Secret Service Review (No Spoilers)

We didn't get to go to the cinema last week as my flatmate was ill but we went this week to see Kingsman: The Secret Service.

I loved this film! I wasn't sure what to expect as it seemed to be a comedy but also like a drama so I wasn't sure of the genre or what was going to happen but it was definitely a comedy (although we seemed to be the only ones laughing in the cinema but this seems to happen alot to us).
It's basically about a Gentleman's secret service based in a tailor's store. They recruit some new spies who will have to carry out tests in order to join the service. While this is going on, Samuel L. Jackson is plotting to take over the world.

It was your typical spy movie but with added comedy and jokes about their own film and the spy genre in general.
The acting was fabulous, with lots of British actors who showed, again, just how amazing we are. I would definitely recommend this film, it's very funny and certainly something I will be buying on DVD!

For those who do not know anything of the film, here is the trailer:
