Enola Holmes (spoiler free) review

With a cast like Enola Holmes has, you expect great things and it did not disappoint.
Enola Holmes was added to Netflix this week, so thought I would give it a watch.

Enola (Millie Bobby Brown) is Sherlock (Henry Cahill) and Mycroft's (Sam Claflin) lesser known sister who on her 16th birthday finds her mother (Helena Bonham Carter) missing. Enola decides to enlist the help of Sherlock and Mycroft to find her mother, which ends in Enola running away to London and meeting Lord Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge), a young lad also running away.
Of course with a name like Holmes, mystery ensues and Enola proves to be quite the detective.

Interestingly, when I working last summer this film was being filmed where I was working so I was interested to see if I would be able to recognise any of the locations.

When Enola is at the train station to meet Sherlock and Mycroft, this is Arley train station which I know well. Also, when Enola runs away to London, this is filmed at Kidderminster train station, part of Severn Valley Railway, where I was working!

I enjoyed this film, it was quite clever. I also liked the twist at the end, which I didn't guess. This is unusual for me, as I watch a lot of programmes with twists and turns so I am used to guessing correctly.
Definitely recommend, as it is a nice and easy watch, especially at the moment.
