Into The Woods Review (No Spoilers)

Orange Wednesdays ends in February so, every Wednesday from now until it ends I am determined to go and see all the films I want to see that are out. Films play a big part in my life and I watch alot of films and try to attend the cinema as much as I can.
As a massive Disney fan and a lover of musicals, I wanted to see Into The Woods as soon as I saw the trailer. With an all-star cast of James Corden, Emily Blunt and Chris Pine to name a few, it sounded like the perfect combination to make a fabulous film.
However, I was quite disappointed when I left the cinema. It was nothing like I expected it to be. The music was all the same tune but different words so it was hard to distinguish between songs and they didn't appear to stick in your head so you were singing as you left.
The film appeared to be advertised as 'what happens after Happily Ever After' for Cinderella, Jack from the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and Little Red Riding Hood with the original story of the Baker and his wife carrying out a quest for the Witch in order to remove the curse and have a child. However, the film seemed to focus on the retelling, of the original stories of these well known fairy tales and it seemed, only the last 40 minutes focused on what happened after 'Happily Ever After'.
The acting was phenomenal, and made me feel quite proud that it was filmed in the UK but also featured heavily, British actors.

Here is the trailer for anyone who is not familiar with the film:
