Spy Review (No Spoilers)

This film was something I wanted to see from the minute I saw the trailer. The cast was perfect and included Melissa McCarthy and Miranda Hart, two of my favourite people and the film was written by Paul Feig, who wrote Bridesmaids and The Heat, which are some of my favourite films that never fail to make me laugh.

The film is based on a woman who works in the basement of the CIA with an agent who is out in the field. Something happens that leads her to be needed out in the field as the enemy (Rose Byrne) knows all of the top CIA agents. Obviously there's lots of things that go wrong and they play up with McCarthy's image and turns her into a crazy cat lady amongst other identities.
Here's the trailer for those who aren't familiar with the film:

This film was everything I dreamed of and more! It was fabulous, and so funny. Jason Statham stole the show as he basically mocked himself and all his roles in action films. The film had a couple of brilliant cameos, and all the characters were so entertaining and funny. I would definitely recommend this film and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD so I can watch it many times!
